What Is a Co-op?
A cooperative is an association of like minded persons united voluntarily to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations through a jointly-owned business. By banding together Co-op members can better control pricing, product quality and have input into business decisions.
The Garden Fresh Co-op
The Garden Fresh Co-op is a farm Co-op in which the members own a portion of the upcoming crop. The Garden Fresh Co-op is set to launch from a forty acre Organic farm near Hubbard Oregon. Ten of those acres will be set aside for the Co-op while the other 30 acres will be organically farmed by Organic Acres.
The Co-op’s ten acres will be managed professionally by Organic Acres and will grow hundreds of thousands of pounds of pesticide free organically grown produce that can feed thousands of people during crop season. Crop season in Oregon usually runs for about twenty weeks from June to November.
As a member of the Co-op you will own a share of all the products grown on those ten acres and can order weekly baskets of fresh organically grown produce at any time you desire. You will have input into what to grow as well as be able to choose which pesticide free favorite products will fill your weekly baskets.
You will also be able to purchase year around at a 10% discount from regular retail, all other products you may want that are not produced in your co-op garden. There will be year around pesticide free vegetables and herbs available through Organic Acres at a 10% discount as well as thousands of other Organic products from soup to nuts.

Organic Acres Subscriptions-If you choose any of the monthly auto subscription packages you will not only receive your Organic Acres membership for Free but we will give you up to a full 40% savings from retail total. With any Organic Acres Subscription the monthly fee you pay in will be applied to your Farmers Market account in the form of credits that you can use at any time to purchase Farmers Market products at up to 40% off retail. Your Farmers Market credits may be saved for use at any time in the Garden Fresh Co-op online Farmers Market.

Products Delivered-There are two ways to receive your farmer’s market produce. Xpress drive up if you live near the farm or Priority shipping. The Xpress drive up option allows you to shop on line to save time. You order on line and use your Farmers Market Credit account to pay for your products. You can then tell us when you will come to the farm for pick up and we will fill and chill your harvest fresh box so when you drive out to the farm your box will be fresh and ready. You don’t even have to get out of the car. We will bring it to you.
Priority Shipping (1 to 3 days) – You can choose to have your box shipped to you via priority USPS whenever you desire depending on seasonality and availability! All produce will be delivered in a Harvest Fresh cooler box. Your shipping cost will be $20 per box if you live outside of the local area and $10 if you live within a 200 mile radius of the farm (check the back office for local zip codes) and the shipping charge will be taken from your available Farmers Market Credit account. Each Harvest Fresh Box can be filled with up to 10 lbs of fresh from the farm pesticide FREE, organically grown produce, fruit or herbs. You only pay for the pounds you request at the subscription rate you have chosen. Next year we will add a third delivery system. That system will be a drop off system where we will drop your weekly produce off in an area nearer you and you can pick it up from the drop off point.
Direct Rewards- 5% is paid to any member that personally sponsors someone into the subscription program if that person then upgrades to a subscription. The assigned percentage is paid on the monthly subscription as long as that member remains in the subscription program.
