I’m 55 years old and was paralyzed from a motorcycle crash in 1984, but I needed to fight to take care of my 5 year old son, so the authorities wouldn’t place him in foster care. We both moved to Gresham, Oregon into an 3 bedroom apartment by Mt. Hood Community College. We both started school he went to first grade and I started general studies at college. After extreme rehabilitation I adapted to computers skills and artistic ability by using a mouth stick. Marketing in products seemed to be the direction I ended going. My son is now 29 married with 2 children, and plays guitar and welds for a living.
